CHRIS BRAIDE

PRODUCER is a collection of songs Chris Braide originally wrote for the London-based band The Producers.

Beginning in 2006 at London’s legendary Basing Street Studios, Braide spent four years writing, singing and recording with a group of acclaimed British producers, including Stephen Lipson.

Braide sang and played throughout the project, as well as co-writing and co-producing the material.

By 2010, after four years with the band, Braide had moved on. He subsequently relocated to Los Angeles, where his career as a songwriter and producer was gathering momentum internationally.

These new recordings bring the material into the present. The new versions are augmented by ELO bassist Lee Pomeroy, alongside Andy Hodge and guitarist Dave Bainbridge. There is also a guest appearance from It Bites guitarist Francis Dunnery on Stay Elaine.
